I am delighted to present Trajan's Triumph: MAGA Aurea, a visionary mixed-media drawing. Completed in early 2026, this piece masterfully fuses the grandeur of 2nd Century BC Roman architecture with potent symbols of modern American patriotism, creating a timeless narrative of liberty, justice, and enduring strength. Measuring 18x24 inches, the work employs pencil, selective colored pencil accents, and gold leaf highlights on paper, evoking the opulence of imperial Rome while infusing it with a distinctly 21st-century ideological fervor.

At the composition's heart lies a majestic canal, reminiscent of the Tiber River or Trajan's engineered waterways, teeming with Roman triremes and smaller vessels that symbolize naval prowess and exploration. Flanking this aquatic artery are towering temples and colonnades, their pediments adorned with golden inscriptions such as "MAGA," "LIBERTAS," "JUSTITIA," and "VERITAS"—Latin virtues reimagined through the lens of American exceptionalism. The central statue, evoking the Statue of Liberty but clasping a fasces and torch, stands as a beacon of republican ideals, while equestrian figures and robed sages on pedestals (bearing mottos like "IN DEUM CREDIMUS" and "SEMPER FIDELIS") pay homage Republican leaders and military fidelity.
